The Reunion is back for October 2026!
No doubt, we will be back at the Four Points by Sheraton Virginia Beach Oceanfront. This time the Aylwin crew will be going it alone — no combined reunion with the USS Harry E. Yarnell.
Depending on the number of attendees, we may or may not get the big party room on the 4th floor. The cost to the reunion is $250 per day if we don’t make the room count — and we lost our butts in 2024 — so we’ll probably start with the smaller room on the lobby level.
We will, as usual, have raffles, tours, giveaways, t-shirts, silent auctions, and other memorabilia such as hats for sale.

Thursday
- Noon: Hospitality Suite opens for Registration, Membership Drive, Raffle Sales begin
- 6:30 PM: Pizza and Subs
- 8:00 PM: Liberty Call — Bar hop the Oceanfront (music bingo, trivia, karaoke, etc.) Ask Glenn for details
Friday
- 7–9 AM: Breakfast for the crew
- Golf: Redwing (tee times TBD)
- Noon: Hospitality Suite opens for Registration, Membership Drive, Raffle Sales
- 6:30 PM: Subs, Salad, Wings
- 7:00 PM: Fun and Games — Know Your Ship Trivia
- 8:00 PM: Begin Table O’ Treasures raffles and Sea Stories
Saturday
- 7–9 AM: Breakfast for the crew
- Golf: Redwing (tee times TBD)
- Morning-ish: Norfolk day — meet at Circuit Social, 258 Granby Street
- 11:00 AM: 48-tap beer wall opens (costs money); beer/wine/sangria 25% off for our people
- 1:00 PM: Circuit Social opens to the public
- Nearby: Nauticus, Wisconsin, Waterside, MacArthur Mall, etc. (all within ~3 blocks)
- 5:00 PM: Social Hour in the Hospitality Suite
- 6:30 PM: Dinner TBD — Food Committee / Ladies Auxiliary is working on it (it will be awesome!)
- 7:00 PM: Silent Auction and 50-50 Winners
Sunday
- 7–9 AM: Breakfast for the crew
- 9:00 AM: USS Aylwin Veterans Association meeting (Hospitality Suite)
- Discussion: Next reunion, new officers (open to all, not required)
- 10:00 AM: Hospitality Suite closes
